Just a guess--are you sure they allow animated GIFs?
I'm guessing you don't spend much time on tumblr...place is full of them. I just don't know how everyone else is accomplishing it. Remote hosting?
And, yeah, it was a forever GIF.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

Nope.
It's very pretty.
In places.
And ridiculously addictive.
Remote hosting?
Could be. It's easy enough to check a few page sources.
No, the first one I found was tumblr hosted. I don't get it.
I'll have to watch out for that.
Thanks.
So, anyone installed Lion yet? I'm curious how the update process works in practice.
eta: I'm pro'lly gonna wait a bit. Certainly I gotta wait until I get a bigger HD to install Lion on my MacBook Pro.
Quick question about digital optical cable, or toslink. I got one so that I can have a TV-out --> AV receiver-in connection and get surround sounds when I play media on USB drive connected to my HDTV. The cable doesn't snap on, like I would expect from the usual cables. It's got protrusions that ensure it only goes in one direction, but it feels like it goes in sort of... part-way only. Is that supposed to be like that? I'm getting surround sounds OK, but the connection seems tenuous and insecure, like it'd come off if anything gets jarred.
Lion doesn't have Front Row any more. I have to think about the Mac Mini attached to my TV. Either I'm going to have to keep it on Snow Leopard, or get an AppleTV and use the Mini as a headless backend.
