Does anyone use Hootsuite? Does it really help keep track of Twitter, FB, WPress and all that?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I would uninstall, Jesse. It's just taking up space and won't be usable.

Does anyone know a plug-in widget that would let me (a) put an image in a sidebar and/or (b)change text fonts, size and color in a sidebar?

I've tried using the HTML widget, and I get no love.

It's for Wordpress.org, btw.

(Also, did sign up for Hootsuite, and so far, it's getting a YAY! from me!)

Don't know about WP, but yes to Twitter and Facebook.

It only keeps tracks of WP.com, and not WP.org, but that's no big.

Dudes, I am earning SO MUCH GEEK CRED in the last two weeks!

So, when you try to save a file to the c: drive, do you get a message saying please give admin credentials, or does it just say you can't do it at all?

Is UAC turned on or off?

it tells me i can't do it at all. even though i'm set up as the Admin.

UAC is turned down to notify me when changes are trying to be made to programs. should i turn it off completely?

Can't hurt to try it and see, you can turn it back on afterwards if you like.

What anti-virus or other security software is running? Is it set to check files before write operations? That can sometimes restrict allowed write locations as well.
