I know this sounds silly, but have you tried turning the end of the cord that plugs into the computer the other way around? Mine sometimes doesn't work if one side is up, but with the other side up, it works fine.

OK- I think I might be a genius! I took the power cord half of the new adapter, and the other half of the old broken one, and put them together. Still weird that the new one crapped out like that.

Oh my God, how does anyone use a smartphone? It's been three hours and my battery is suddenly half gone. All I did was play Angry Birds for like five minutes in the morning and wave around a lightsaber for ten seconds. It lasted the whole day the last couple days when I was actually USING it; I don't understaaaaaaand.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
My Blackberry's battery won't even last a whole day anymore, and the thing is barely a year old. Think I'll trade it in for something with a slide-out keyboard so I can actually type on it - turns out I'd rather text than talk.
