I didn't know it went the other way! But alas this did not work.
I am pretty irked because I have no other tv or DVD player, so I will be completely entertainmentless except gettng on the internet on my phone.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

OK- I think I might be a genius! I took the power cord half of the new adapter, and the other half of the old broken one, and put them together. Still weird that the new one crapped out like that.
Modem Dial-Up Sound Slowed Down 700% Is Super Creepy
Here’s what a modem dial-up sounds like slowed down by 700%. This would make a great soundtrack for a horror film.
Can any rec a free, idiots-can-use-this, Zip program? I'm trying to get into the specs for a potential editing job, and my Winzip free trial is dead.
Have a look at 7-Zip: [link]
Thanks, dcp. I'd already dl WINRAR; is 7-Zip better?
We use 7-Zip at work. Haven't tried WINRAR.
Oh my God, how does anyone use a smartphone? It's been three hours and my battery is suddenly half gone. All I did was play Angry Birds for like five minutes in the morning and wave around a lightsaber for ten seconds. It lasted the whole day the last couple days when I was actually USING it; I don't understaaaaaaand.
My Blackberry's battery won't even last a whole day anymore, and the thing is barely a year old. Think I'll trade it in for something with a slide-out keyboard so I can actually type on it - turns out I'd rather text than talk.

P-C, check to see if you're still running Angry Birds. Go through the Settings panel and click on Applications and then Running Services. Or click on Phone Info and then Battery and it'll tell you what apps are using up your power.
