"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Chrome is pretty awesome. I used FF for YEARS and I don't really miss it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Opera. Seriously. Cures the sick and whitens your teeth.

Yeah, I switched to Chrome too. It's pretty great. The only thing I miss about FF is being able to bookmark RSS feeds. ETA: There's probably an extension for that somewhere...I haven't looked yet.

Sue, you don't read your RSS feeds through google reader?

Nope, I've been using FF's ability to bookmark RSS feeds in browser and reading them that way. I've never used a RSS reader before.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

not for nothing, but I really really love google reader. if you use chrome, it is pretty seamless to bookmark and import feeds to google reader.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I used Chrome at first, but for some reason it hasn't made me happy like Firefox does. Live bookmarks are one of the best things about Firefox - Google Reader doesn't come close. I used to use Opera a lot when IE was the only real alternative, but I haven't had a look at it recently. I'll remind myself.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I am looking at the MBP and I would love to know your impressions of the machine after you get it. I can't get one till around Labor Day...

Well, I ordered a mid-2010 refurbished model rather than the newest one with their strange new port (Thunderbolt, I think it's called).
