A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Jon, that's exactly what I'm going to do. I did a bunch of research, and you guys were so helpful. It's doing exactly what I need it to do.

Trust my rage

Erin, I actually like google voice and I think the app interface with my phone works well. But I just wanted to mention that the first time someone calls it asks them to say their name. I thought it would be off-putting to my clients so I paid fo a separate line. YCustomersMV, of course.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Trust my rage

Oh, that would have been good to know. Well, then, I totally love Google Voice and I'm glad I learned something new.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Google Voice tip:

I customize my outgoing message based on caller id (Beau gets one that is a bit different from my standard) and I have a more formal outgoing message to unknown callers.

I also have the occasion to block callers due to spam, or repeated wrong numbers.

It is not easy to search your GV contacts for those you have set up special rules for, so I make note of it in the "notes" area of the contact, so I can search on that if I need to change/remove a call rule later.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

you can have Google Voice turn off this feature.

You can even have it on for some people and off for others (using Groups).

Hey. New board.

Why do I always read the comments on things like that?
