Make sure your ical is set correctly as well as the time on your computer.

I don't have an iPhone, but on the iPad there are separate Time Zone Support settings for the device (General) and Mail, Contacts, Calendars. So the phone could know your time zone but the calendar on the phone have it wrong.

So, it turns out that iCal on Mobile Me had me in LA. Not sure how that happened, and it's only an hour difference, but it's a start.

I would think a bedroom set wouldn't want to be too big to keep illumination to a minimum, if it's a source to help put you to sleep. If it's your primary watching zone, well, then that might be different.

Huh. I think I'd want a smaller size than the low end of the ranges listed for most of those distances. And I have bad eyes.

We have a 32" in the bedroom. It is on the wall at the foot of the bed which places it probably about 8.5' away. I wouldn't want much smaller than 32" in there.
