export and try xmarks. it doesn't have the social aspect yet, but it can sync across computers. It is a good way station that is pretty permanent until you move elsewhere.
xmarks was just purchased so it will be around for a bit.

Does xmarks host the links on the web? Firstly, I don't see an Opera logo there, and secondly, I don't want those bookmarks on my browser. I want an external tagging and organisation system that's better than bookmarks.
