Any advice on DVD authoring software for Windows? I'm looking for something that can work with a variety of file types, and can do the necessary file converting without requiring me to take a night class on video editing terminology.

What version of Windows? Windows 7 or Vista(not sure about Vista) has Windows DVD Maker which works pretty well.
ita,
if this persists, you might have to look into the instructions for backing up all your calendar data, moving it out of the folder and creating a new calendar.
One time, my ical data was corrupted and I had to move everything and reimport.
I'm using XP, naturally. Though I have a netbook with 7, maybe I could use it to make .iso files that I could then burn with the software I already have...
A netbook might not have it if it's running netbook version of 7. Unfortunately Windows DVD Maker is the only thing I've used recently. A long time ago I used Sonic DVD Maker which came with my DVD writer, but I recall it being kind of dodgy.
my browser window went full screen and I can no longer access the task bar, and can only switch between tabs. I have mashed every F key and combination of Shift and Ctrl and Tab and Alt. It's Internet Explorer. Help!
Juliebird, the F11 key should fix that.
Or the Escape key.
thanks!
I just performed a Flash upgrade on my work laptop, and now I'm not able to play any youtube video. At least, I'm assuming that's the reason. Anyone else having problems?
eta: never mind--it seems to be "just" taking a hell of a long time to load. I hope that doesn't persist.
