I think JavaScript/HTML5 will eventually take over for web apps (though Java will probably still be on the server side and you can develop web apps in Java using GWT, but it gets converted to JavaScript). If Oracle is making an OS/X JVM, then it doesn't seem like a big deal.

Wordpress question: if I now have two blogs, how do I separate between them so I'll be able to access both of them with different usernames and different passwords?
I'm not used to dealing with this. New job as inkjet printer (I usually buy cheap brother laser printers). This is a decent scanner/copier/printer guy, so I can't just buy a new printer instead of ink.
Is there a good source for OEM Canon ink cartridges? They seem rather pricey.
I would swear that many of the big box office stores refill injet cart, but can't swear to brands.
Costco does refills but not for the inkjet printer I have.
I've heard horror stories of the refill leaking. Afraid to do that. Am I being irrational? (this is why I like laser printers)
omnis,
try shoplet.com
Thanks. It seems Supermedia.com, Walmart and Shoplet are all within a couple bucks of each other for OEM Canon ink. For a complete set, it looks to be about $80. Which seems outrageously priced to me. And the horror stories I hear, and have read in reviews* has me worried about using non-oem stuff. And has me thinking that it's all some big racket, that if you have to have a precise chip for this ink, and the non-oem can't buy that chip, then it seems like a monopoly type of thing, and needs an investigation to defend our rights to free enterprise.

Oh, and the * is to say, I know reviews are filled with crackpots who have no clue. But sometimes they bring up good points, so I have a grain of salt, and take heed.
Yeah, you don`t buy printers, you buy ink consumption machines. That`s the business model.
No kidding. I recall NoiseDesign mentioning he just buys a new printer, it's easier, and about the same price. Alas, no can do.
