Our wings are not tired

Goodreader on the iPad has just added full PDF markup in the latest version. I love me my Goodreader.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Jessica, It could be that the G5 PRAM battery is going out. I'm thinking that it can't take the full load of demands on ti, so it shuts off.

OTOH? Have you tried the cables one at a time?

Can you plug the cables directly into the computer instead?

Otherwise, I got nothing. Hmmm...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It looks like the iPad will be able to mulit-task come November. Does anyone know if this will mean an upgrade to the existing ones, or a new version? It wasn't clear to me on the website.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It will be a free upgrade to existing iPad owners.

It's just the upgrade to iOS4 that will do it Brenda. It is all software.

ND, I tried this last night and (please correct me if I'm wrong) I did some highlighting of text and I think they still have some kinks to work out. What I found is that when I transferred the document to my mac and looked at my annotations with preview, the highlighting covered the words (as opposed to highlight!).

I also found that it was more difficult to do the physical highlighting in Goodreader.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Have you tried the cables one at a time?

Yup - no dice.

How expensive/dificult is it to replace a PRAM battery? I think this machine is due to be replaced next fiscal year anyway, but that's 6 months away.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you've lent a Nook book out, you can't read it yourself? And you certainly can't lend it to someone else, right?

Can you return a book once you've finished it? I don't see why it has to stay out of Erin's library 13 more days, now that I'm done with it.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

You can't read it if it's loaned out. According to the manual, you can only lend a book one time. I didn't know that. But, if the friend refuses the book, it can still be lent to someone else. You have 7 days to accept or refuse.

Part of the manual says you have it for 14 days unless you return it sooner. The part that talks about returning it says it expires in 14 days and doesn't say anything about returning it sooner. So... I don't know. There might be a "return" button somewhere on the "read more' part of the book description.
