Delicious so that other people can subscribe to my bookmarks and browse them.

It's a job, well, not requirement, but strongly suggested.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like delicious because it allows you to access it from any browser and to share it with other people, as well as great tagging capabilities. I love it.

I still have bookmark sharing setup between all my computers (mac and PC) at home, but those are different links, generally.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

wow. well cool. I'm not into the sharing, so that never occurred to me!

I'm glad people do share, because you can search random stranger's lists for what they thought good. And there's good stuff out there.

Raq, I have no idea why your bookmarks aren't viewable from home to work. It almost sounds like you have different accounts...

I had to throw a fit at our IT folks to let me access Delicious, because at one point last year the webmonitor decided it was a social networking/dating site. I pointed out that I saved work-related stuff on it (which I do, in addition to fic!), and they opened it back up. That was annoying.

I did have problems with delayed updating (my sister said she couldn't see my updates right away), but never out and out different between two machines.

Have you tried logging out and logging back in again? Viewing from different browsers on the same machine?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

iPod Boombox

I like it just for its retro-ness. 'Cuz back in the early-mid '80s, boomboxes were cool. Then the market was flooded with cheap boomboxes, destroying their coolness....

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I went to the link and I love this from the product description:

Record your favorite music or religious program directly from your radio to MP3

Yes. My favorite religious program will indeed be blaring from my old school boombox as I walk my neighborhood. Right next to the unbleeped Public Enemy.
