Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I did have problems with delayed updating (my sister said she couldn't see my updates right away), but never out and out different between two machines.

Have you tried logging out and logging back in again? Viewing from different browsers on the same machine?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

iPod Boombox

I like it just for its retro-ness. 'Cuz back in the early-mid '80s, boomboxes were cool. Then the market was flooded with cheap boomboxes, destroying their coolness....

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I went to the link and I love this from the product description:

Record your favorite music or religious program directly from your radio to MP3

Yes. My favorite religious program will indeed be blaring from my old school boombox as I walk my neighborhood. Right next to the unbleeped Public Enemy.

Weird.

Also,

Look familiar? Yes, it’s the updated version of that cassette recorder you used to enjoy using so much. This one is AC/DC, easy to use, and takes a regular cassette (microphone and stand included). Great for recording your memories, "writing" a message, taping a speech, recording yourself singing, playing an instrument, leaving yourself reminders, or for Bible study.

I had the coolest boombox. It was a white cuboid with double tape decks. I miss it.

How, exactly, is this updated?

Ummm... it's in a pastel color? You can use it for Bible study?

Hey. New board.

And why the religious obsession?

To make me laugh, I think.

So I guess this is a cutting-edge home robot.

PR2 is the personal robot buddy you can buy today

We've been following the development of Willow Garage's PR2 robot for over a year, and now you can finally plunk down your $400,000 to get a beer serving, pool playing, and outlet finding PR2 of your own.

In addition to doing household chores like Rosie the Robot from The Jetsons, the makers say that PR2 makes an excellent base on which you can develop all sorts of robotic research tools. While the cutesy tasks are fun, they really expect PR2 to be used by educational institutions and industry as a robotics development platform.

PR2 comes pretty well equipped right out of the box, with dual gripper arms, a full-motion mobility base, and a complete suite of audio, video, and tactile sensors. Computing power is provided by pair of 8-core servers with 24GB of RAM and a 2TB hard disc. PR2 is also equipped with multiple WiFi systems and a onboard Gigabit Ethernet network.
