is anyone else's email buggy since they upgraded to iOS? it's beginning to drive me crazy.

tiggy,
what email problems are you having? I had to completely redo my email settings because of Ios email settings.
I was using google for apps and the default setting was lock the device every minute. Well, I'm not having that, so I had to sync two email addresses separately from my calendar.
ummm...for one it keeps fetching my mail even though i have it set to manual. it keeps showing that i have new email, but more often than not it's an email from "No Sender" with no subject, no content and the date is 12/31/69. it won't let me click on it to open or just delete it. it's also not always deleting an email when i tell it to. i'm beginning to wonder if i just need to delete my email settings and start from scratch.
yes. I would highly recommend this.
I have to admit the one laptop per child makes sense. I considered getting one myself, but was able to get a netbook for the same price, more power, and battery life was not as big a consideration since I don't travel where there is not electricity. Not a camper at heart. But for something like the Amazon it really does seem perfect.

Although, in the Amazon rain forest, the canopy will block a lot of sun, so not sure how much charging will happen.
I have an event invitation on Facebook that's pretty obviously spam. I don't want to risk it being a virus - is there any way to delete it without clicking "respond"? [eta: Nevermind, I was able to remove it without going all the way into the event.]
And now for the REALLY important question - how long do we think it will be before AT&T stores have iPhone 4s in stock? There's one only a few blocks from my office, much more convenient than going to an Apple store.

Yeah, she is definitely getting a solar charger or there would be no point in taking a lap top. But 4 watts is a bit low. The trip involves a series of semi-permanent campsites, so she should be able to find sunny spots.
Yeah, the One Laptop idea sounds like a good one. It does sound ideal.
Coffee and a tech question: forgive me if it's a little unintelligible; it's early.
So, my free Office I got with the laptop runs out in a few days. I've heard good things about Google docs, but I wanted to get people's opinions.
I use Word and Powerpoint -- is it ok to just switch off to GoogleDocs? Is it comparable? Can I still access and edit my Word and PP docs?
Thanks, all.
