Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

it's only $100 more than the 16GB.

t /bad influence

If/when I buy, I'll probably get the 16GB. The only time my 1st gen gets full is when I fly, filling with video.

Looks like the phone was the bulk of it. That and iPad OS enhancements. No other new products. No new mini, or tower, which were some of the guesses. (I think).

Trust my rage

My thoughts were the same as Jessica's and then - I am a terrible wife - I found myself thinking, "Well, we just have to get one because Joe will be in Iraq." Bad wife!

Our wings are not tired.

Just got a box from Amazon, a week before my birthday. I asked Steve not to give me ANY more books for my birthday because for the last 2 years, every gift-giving situation had him giving me yet another book. Yes, I love books, yes I love receiving them as gifts. But when he lugged over the 4 lb Willie Mays biography to London to give me for graduation, I had to gently and sweetly say NO MORE BOOKS.

So, the note:

"Hi honey! Happy birthday! No books (as requested); just a book reader. I love you. Steve."

He sent me a Kindle.

This is why I don't understand those Valentine's Day ads about flowers and diamonds. Nothing says love like electronics.

Heh. This thing is pretty cool. My favorite part is the non-glare. So easy on the eyes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

LOL.

enjoy it! I don't like that I can't skim well on it, but for reading, it is great.

Our wings are not tired.

In my case, I am distracted VERY easily, so I am hoping the one-noteness of the Kindle will be good for me. I would never read a book on an iPad, because, hello, ALL THOSE SHINY apps, but the Kindle's plain jane approach is exactly what I need. I am not as voracious a reader as meara, but I am already excited about not having to lug books and magazines around for air travel anymore.
