Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've had my Zenith tv since 1997, and it still works fine. Despite that the cat knocked the huge heavy thing off onto the floor once. Cracked the case, but otherwise undamaged. In fact, I kinda like it better than my new flatscreen high-def tv.

Sorry, that was a typo. My TV is 20. ish. It might be able to drink.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We love our new Panasonic, but it's a plasma, which is not the way most people are going.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

We got a Visio, and it seems to be just great.

Course, my last TV was elderly, so my comparison values are not very technological.

I got a Westinghouse. Which is fine, other than annoying that my TiVo remote won't control the power (but will control the volume...)

Hey. New board.

I have a 27" Dynex 720p, which is lovely (especially for the < $400 I paid for it) but it has a very slow tuner, which is annoying when I change the channel. Of course if you have Tivo or a cable box or other external tuner, this doesn't matter. It also only has one of each type of input (which is fine for me as I route all video through my receiver, but may not work for you).

If those are not problems for you, I recommend the Dynex.

Coding and Sleeping

We've had an LG for a couple of years and it's been good. My parents have had an LG for awhile now and haven't had any troubles.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have an Insignia and do not recommend. The picture is fine but it does not play well with Tivo - the remote codes are too close or something, so every so often changing the volume will turn the tv off.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I bought a Westinghouse four years ago, and now there is a noticeable dark splotch on the screen. I'm trying to see how long I will put up with it before I give in and get a new TV.

Our wings are not tired

I have three Samsungs panels and a Dynex. The Dynex is fine for a i Budget panel but the Samsungs blow it away. I've installed quite a few brands over the past few years and really recommend the Samsungs.
