On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I say go for a non HTC google phone

my phone is an HTC phone . Took it to At & T to see what they would do . I think the tech scared them . they think I should call HTC and see if they can flush and reset. Odly, they didn't try ad sell me anything either. so odd.

so,, why do you say not HTC omnis? I know my reason ( the learning curve is steep ) - just curious.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Serious? How funny. Though I do know her from when we were both in DC so there's that. She's awesome.

She's got amazing energy, that's for sure.

She's friends with a good, old friend of mine. Do you know Shabbir?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, for the love of GOD. I'm new to the world of Project 2007, and I'm trying to use the Copy Picture to Office Wizard. I'm up against the clock, so I'm asking at the same time I'm googling--how do I control what columns appear in my image? I'm just getting ID, Activity, % complete, Duration, Start, and the timescale. It's not giving me anywhere to select those. I can see them all on my view of the Gantt chart.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

why do you say not HTC omnis?
I have a few friends in different parts of the country have serious issues with the phone. My buddy in California went through 4 phones before he got one * whose speaker wasn't distorting all the time * would actually make a call * wouldn't keep randomly crashing and resetting to a bare OS. My Texas friend was having issues with the battery not seating properly, then having issues where text messages wouldn't go through, then she would get a notification that person x texted her, but couldn't find the text anywhere, then the phone just wouldn't do phone things. From what I understand, the Motorola phones do not have those problems.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does anyone have the Tom-Tom GPS app for iPhone? I'm debating whether I should buy a standalone unit or just get the app and save myself the trouble of owning one more device.

[eta - ooh, one thing I just thought of is I can't use my phone in Canada without data roaming. So maybe the standalone unit would be better. Not that I really need the GPS in Canada - New Jersey is where I'm likely to get lost.]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Understanding Windows 7's 'GodMode'

I don't use Windows 7 - anyone tried this?

Although its name suggests perhaps even grander capabilities, Windows enthusiasts are excited over the discovery of a hidden "GodMode" feature that lets users access all of the operating system's control panels from within a single folder.

By creating a new folder in Windows 7 and renaming it with a certain text string at the end, users are able to have a single place to do everything from changing the look of the mouse pointer to making a new hard-drive partition.

Our wings are not tired

I have the Navigon app for my iPhone. It got slightly better ratings than the Tom Tom one. I've been happy with it when I travel. It does not need a connection to work, the mapset is part of the application.
