Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That URL doesn't work for me.

Missing a letter k on the end of the URL.

Fixed now. (I removed the "?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+wired%2Findex+%28Wired%3A+Index+3+%28Top+Stories+2%29%29&utm_content=Google+Reader" from the URL but screwed it up.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm thinking about getting a Palm Pre Plus, in part so I can use it as WiFi hotspot so my Touch (and eventual iPad -more of a dream than a plan, but ooh I want one) can do networky things. Anybody know how well that works?

Hey. New board.

I mostly use spotlight to launch apps, which I like for it's Quiksilverness, so I'm a little whatever on app folders.

Anybody know how well that works?

It works quite well. I'll be using one for that purpose this weekend, since the regular Sprint Pre I use as my personal phone doesn't offer the mobile hotspot feature.

I have to confess that I work at Palm on the software for the Pre, so I'm not completely objective, but I don't think you'll be unhappy with it.
