Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

Our wings are not tired.

I HATED my HTC Touch or whatever it was called. I hope they've improved with the Evo.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This of course is my sneaky way of deciding which one to buy, as I've finally concluded that I need one.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Are you going to buy the one you'd F? or M?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you have a carrier preference?

There's an app for that...

tommy, M. I'm in it for the long term.

ita, I hate AT&T and TMobile, and have little love for Sprint, either. Verizon is on the top of my list mainly because I've never used them before, so they haven't had an opportunity to screw me over. I expect I'll get screwed somehow by any of them, so, no. As long as their coverage is good in my areas of Virginia, I don't care. I'm more concerned with getting a reliable smartphone that does what I want and has a relatively flat learning curve.

Hey. New board.

I have and am generally enamored with my iPhone, despite objecting to it and Apple's general behavior regarding it on various ethical grounds. Were I buying right now, I'd probably get one of the Android phones - either the Droid or possible the actual Google-branded phone (I misremember its actual name) that apparently nobody bought - but I would recommend the iPhone to anybody without my personal ethical objections and interest in futzing around with open software. It's the leader of the pack for good reason.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Shameful confession time: I just learned that, on a Mac, if you select multiple files and then right-click (or control-click) and select "Archive files," it zips them.

I totally didn't know that, and I've been using Stuffit for my zipping needs. THIS IS SO MUCH FASTER!

t edit I'd seen the "Archive files" option in the right-click menu before, but I didn't know what it actually did, so I just ignored it. t /shame

I wonder what else I don't know this computing machine can do. Perhaps it can connect me to the Interpipe.

It can also store your recipes and calculate your biorhythms!

Works on Windows too, Send To -> Compressed File
