Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
This is possibly the dumbest question ever, but...
I am on Windows xp.
I have what I think is the latest version of itunes.
When itunes is maximized, the itunes store is bigger than the opening for it, and there is no scroll bar on the bottom. I can't buy anything because the buy button is on the right hand side which I can't see. I cannot drag the itunes window any larger, even though I have 2 monitors, so theoretically could drag it across both.
The window is too small for the contents in other areas of itunes, but there is a scroll bar.
Minimize it and then see if you can change the size by expanding each side.
It is so weird-- I can't move the sides bigger than my screen (although on other programs I can move it over on to my second screen).

Is there anyone here familiar with Rackspace for blog hosting? If so can you make me a hero at work thereby assuring my position will go from contract to perm and tell me how to upload a PDF to the blog?
Pretty please?
I'm not sure, but sent it on anyway. Thanks!

They should make an iPad Nano, an iPad you can hold in one hand and slip into your pocket.
I don't know why but my Firefox 3.6 is having fits with the NCAA scoreboard refreshes (2 different websites) and the streaming audio is so soft I had to max out volume on the app and my computer. Switched to Chrome and everything is working great. What's up Firefox?
What's up Firefox?
It's probably your Flash version.
Turns out to have been a config fuckup on the web host's side. The normal .php extensions were running PHP 4, and the .htaccess directives were making the redirected files run PHP 5, hence the different behaviours.
I can't believe the amount of pushback they gave me. Sure, they don't give code support, but it was the same exact file giving two different results with the same input. That's config.
Now it's all sorted.
