"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm not sure, but sent it on anyway. Thanks!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

They should make an iPad Nano, an iPad you can hold in one hand and slip into your pocket.

I don't know why but my Firefox 3.6 is having fits with the NCAA scoreboard refreshes (2 different websites) and the streaming audio is so soft I had to max out volume on the app and my computer. Switched to Chrome and everything is working great. What's up Firefox?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What's up Firefox?

It's probably your Flash version.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Turns out to have been a config fuckup on the web host's side. The normal .php extensions were running PHP 4, and the .htaccess directives were making the redirected files run PHP 5, hence the different behaviours.

I can't believe the amount of pushback they gave me. Sure, they don't give code support, but it was the same exact file giving two different results with the same input. That's config.

Now it's all sorted.

Anyone here user Blender? (An open-source 3-D animation program.) Looks cool, but damn, it has a steep learning curve....

Hey. New board.

I used it for a while. You ain't jokin' about the learning curve, though I found it only slightly more difficult to learn than, say, The Gimp.

Not that I can do anything useful in either of them, so what do I know.

Compassionately intolerant

Is there a generic version of iPhoto, or some such, that I could use to extract photos from an inactive iPhone?

Or, can anyone endorse DiskAid for this purpose?

I have a G3 that I just want to use as a camera and ipod. My computer is a G5 using OSX 4.11, unupgradable ppc.
