I have a 37" LG that works great and my parents are happy with their 32" LG. In my case a computer does the upscaling, but my parent's TV does it's own upscaling and it's fine.

I have no personal experience with any other brand, but I've never heard a bad word about a Samsung.

I don't know if you still need this, ita, but DH mentions Setting Profiles Lite by Probeez (there's a paid version with more features, also) and Locale which is $10 but supposed to be really great. He's just starting to use Setting Profiles Lite, himself, should be able to report its actual usefulness before too long, but its theoretical usefulness is pretty nifty - you can set all kinds of conditions for your profiles: time of day, battery fullness, location, calendar keywords, etc.

We have a 32" and would go bigger. To me it's not big enough for HDTV and Blu-Ray. You're paying for it but not seeing the details anyway.

Now that I think about it, no. I take it an "offline" reader would be like an email client? It downloads stuff. Cause, Yeah that would be better in some ways. Stuff does not get deleted until I delete it? An offline client would be fine if it works better than Google reader.

My problem is that I love large screens for movies, but I loathe huge tv shows. So I went for a 32" and it's perfect for me.
