Now I'm rather glad Gmail cruelly crashed my account some years ago and I've boycotted Google ever since.

Enh. It was a dick move, but it was naive to believe their "do no evil" proclamation.

It's not going to affect my usage of their gmail services for my professional or anonymous email addresses.

And I'm not saying that just because I just bought an Android phone...
