Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't imagine giving up any cupboard space.

They should have them flip down from the bottom of cupboards. At least in my kitchen--all the cupboards are set so high I could totally read recipes at that height very easily.

That would be awesome. I think there's a TV/DVD combo unit out there that is designed to do just that.

Java, we have this home theatre system in our bedroom

and it's been really good. It actually has three HDMI inputs so you can route the Blu-Ray player through it and then just have the one HDMI cable running to the TV. Sony make an iPod dock that you can use with it as well. I also have ours set up with an Airport Express behind it and I use that to get the net connection to the Blu Ray player, as well as using the digital audio output from the airport express to give me iTunes on the bedroom setup.

Hmm. Does that work? Is that a straight single quote for you guys?

That's the last thing I've got to resolve about posting from my phone. It is driving me crazy with the stupid smart quotes.

That is, as long as I'm not messing anyone up with my

routine to force paragraph breaks. Is that annoying anyone or showing up weird in my other posts? You can tell which ones, because they have smart quotes in them. Hee.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Is that a straight single quote for you guys?

Yes, but the other day I do remember seeing a entity in one of your posts.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, I have Time Machine doing backups to my Time Capsule. Most of the time everything works fine. But sometimes when I'm using the MacBook away from home, it tries to do a backup, sees there's no Time Capsule, and then gets stuck on the "Stopping Backup" thing - so the clock with the arrow just keeps on spinning. Then when I get home, it keeps on spinning and fails to do any backups. If I go to Enter Time Machine, it just times out trying to connect to the Time Capsule, while Finder hangs.

When this happens I gotta reboot to put things right. Any ideas? (Feel free to make Time Machine / time travel jokes.)
