I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is it common for something to work in IE but not Firefox?

Dana, I suspect not. I'm getting: [no link! nothing to see here!]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is it common for something to work in IE but not Firefox?

Our sites here at work are validated for IE and not Firefox, and that's without any ActiveX shenanigans. I'd have thought it'd be the more standards compliant way around, but I guess you pick your lexicon and work to it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I know they just redesigned our intranet, and the page loads fine in IE but requires a whole bunch of extra password log-ins in Firefox for some reason. I don't know what the deal is, but I guess if you optimize for IE, sometimes Firefox gets the shaft.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It was working earlier today, so someone clearly broke something. I'm just surprised it broke in Firefox.

I guess I need to escalate this. I was hoping it would magically fix itself.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

And yeah it looks fine in IE. So you have a browser specific issue. Interestingly enough I see the same problem in an old version of Opera. So I wonder if you have IE specific code in there.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's code in there designed to make it work with IE6. (I know, I know. We all know. Argue with the client.) I just don't know what they might have been working on today to break it. And it would have to happen when our web person is out sick.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And I just made a developer go "Ooops."

Thanks, guys.

Vortex, do you mind deleting the screencap? I'd like to try and keep things on the DL, especially since I have so little chance to ever use the phrase "on the DL."

No prob. I'd already deleted the file, so the link is dead, but I will delete the link in the post.
