Ben: I didn't ask for any of this. I just want to be normal. Gronx: I wanted to be an underwear model. We play the hand we're dealt.

Our wings are not tired

So I shouldn't get any motherboards from the beginning of the alphabet. I'll start with Biostar.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really need a second hard drive. Well, what I'd really like to do is extend my primary drive, but that's too much fuss. I'll uninstall and reinstall apps.

What brands of drive are most reliable these days? Is Best Buy pricing reasonable, or should I order online or schlep to Frye's?

I've got a couple of Western Digital My Book drives and a few of the Seagate Free Agent drives that seem to be holdling up pretty well.

I'd check out NewEgg before running to Best Buy. They always seem to have some good deal or another going on. Especially if you subscribe to their email newsletter. Better yet, search dealnews.com.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Newegg has a pre-Black-Friday sale starting on Monday. They were advertising a 2TB Seagate external drive for $150.

If that's the drive I looked at earlier today, it's 5400rpm, which is kinda slow.

Yeah. But 2TB is big, and I'm easily impressed.

Actually, I can't tell. Either it's buried somewhere, or I have Friday fatigue.

I have to open my box to check for an available bay, but I want to go internal.
