is there a particular reason the 3GS doesn't charge while connected to itunes/my computer?
Do you have it plugged in directly to your computer, or are you using a USB hub?

not using a hub. just plugging the usb cord directly into the laptop.

hmm...at first it was unplugged, but then i plugged it in when the battery started dying.

That might be it. My iPod speakers will charge the iPod but not when they're running off battery.

My router has died. I am connected to the internet with a cable. I am TETHERED!!! Anyone have a suggestion for a new router? I currently have (had) a D-Link DI-614+ 2.4 Ghz router. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so it doesn't need to be too powerful, I would think.
