I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I received a google wave invitation today! Thank you! When I have the ability to invite others, I will.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yay! I'm glad they're finally going out.

(I also think it was a HUGE mistake on Google's part not to give people the ability to invite others instantly, even if it meant starting with a smaller beta pool -- there's essentially nothing you can do to try it out without contacts, and I think a lot of people got it and looked and went, "okay, but what does it do?")

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

lifehacker has a great article about Wave, and one of the first commands they tell people to use is "with:public" - it is overwhelming, but I'm digging reading all the waves.

yeah, with:public is fun (and vaguely early-internettish, in that delusion of being able to see it all way)

It reminds me of when I started using tweetgrid and followed some trending topics. Everything just scrolling on down in waves of info.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Slashdot is linking to story about a Nuclear Battery the size of a penny.

Story they linked to, directly: [link]

I don't suppose they will be cheap enough to use in my glucose tester or my car remote...
