I don't use Folders4Gmail, but there's an "older version" link at the top of the page that you might try -- with the disclaimer that I don't know how old the older version in question is or whether it breaks anything else you need.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
Yeah, that version is pretty old - not quite flat HTML, but close enough.
I'm sure the Folders4Gmail people will have an update soon.
I use the older version all the time at home, because my dial-up connection cannot handle the newer version.
Eh, worth a try, I guess. I'm just cranky and annoyed that it broke the Labels on the Right lab feature, or rather that it did so without an option to move my calendar widget to the right to balance the page (which is what I'd really prefer anyway).
Ha, was just about to post here about the Folders4Gmail breakage. Blecch.
THINKING MACHINES ARE GETTING SMARTER (Oct, 1958)
It's interesting to me that accounts of computers in the 1950s and 1960s tended to really anthropromorphize computers - something that didn't stop until personal computers became common.
Archos 9 PCtablet netbook runs Windows 7
Huh. I'm not gonna run out and buy one but perhaps this could be an alternative to a conventional netbook?
The ARCHOS 9 PCtablet is the ultra portable PC; extremely thin, just 0.63", and ultra lightweight, less than 22.29 oz. The ARCHOS 9 pushes the boundaries of style and function.
With a full touch-sensitive 9" screen, users can enjoy a comfortable computing experience. The resistive screen allows emails and documents to be composed easily via a built-in virtual keyboard. The innovative optical trackball and buttons allows easy navigation on screen, and provides an uncompromised PC experience.
The ARCHOS 9 features the new Z515 Intel® processor, Microsoft Windows 7® Operating system and an integrated multimedia platform that uses WiFi 802.11b/g connection and Bluetooth 2.1 for extremely fast computing anywhere, anytime.
No mention of price. Available this fall.
Windows/Screen sharing question (mind you, I can use Windows, just not super Windows savvy)
As we move into the new building, I want to reallocate an old computer to monitor the wireless mics at mix position AND backstage. As I understand it, the application is nominal on resources, just uses a network connection. But I'd love for that ability at the (2) locations. So I was thinking either a KVM share type of thing, or maybe a netbook doing a Windows Screen Share type of thing. Can a cheap netbook do that type of thing? Thinking maybe the netbook could be useful for other projects as needed. Or would a decent KVM be cheaper and a better option?
Serial. Should have food to put in there, might explain hunger.
Anyhoo. So I'm playing with the new Firefox. 2 things already. 1) When I loaded the Message Center, it popped up something about firefox stopped this page from automatically reloading, then there was an "allow" button. Naturally I clicked it. Which made it do it again. Seems a bit crazy. Where would I find the allow these sites to reload as needed settings?
2) They hype this location-aware thing, which would be great for maps. I love that feature on the iPhone. For the life of me, I can't find where to enable that? Any thoughts?
eta as for #2, I found if you do a "Get Info" on a page, in the Permissions tab, at the bottom, there is a "Share Location" with the options "Always ask" "Allow" and "Block". Even in ALLOW mode, google maps doesn't have a button saying "from where you are". I'm guessing that's code that still needs to be written. I was hoping since the video showed a Google map doing it, that it was implemented.
ETA again OK, so I found why Message Center was doing that reload warning. Apparently I checked in preferences "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page". Unchecking that stops the annoying thing for the Buffista site. I wish "allow" would remember that *THIS* site it's ok to do that.
Is there any way in Skype to make yourself only visible to your contacts or people who search for you via your email addresses? I'm tiring of the spambots.
