Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ooh - an Eco Drive. You can store the Earth on it!

All is well that ends in pizza.

My mistake, they call it an EcoGreen drive.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Newegg had a Hitachi 1TB 7200 drive for $75 with free shipping a couple of weeks ago.

I don't need a terabyte of disc space, but I find myself wanting it now. Hmmmm.

In more external topics, does anyone have any recs for a site with netbook skins? I have a lovely new Asus, but it shows every fingerprint in a way only CSI could love.

I've very tempted by the netbooks, especially that Asus 1000HE with the long battery life, but I kinda want to hold out until Windows 7. I'm also still questioning the utility for me personally. While the concept of having a web browser and word processor in an easy to carry package sounds cool. Around the house I might still just stick with my desktop with it's ergonomic keyboard and 28" monitor. When fall comes with soccer practices though, I might see the utility.

I'm traveling a lot, and taking the netbook instead of my full-sized laptop made a world of difference to my shoulders last week. If I didn't have my current travel plans, I probably wouldn't have bothered. But it has been fun. This is the first laptop I've ever had where a stranger asked about it.

I'm still amused that my Acer Aspire One attracted a crowd of Apple Store employees....

Gelaskins is quite popular: [link]

But Skinit says they're the most popular: [link]

If I'm understanding properly, at Skinit you can upload an original graphic, whereas Gelaskin doesn't really allow that unless you buy 50 at a time.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have another rec for a site that lets you upload custom graphics. Hold on...

Aha. [link]
