"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I HAZ GOT COMIKS BOOK.

Changed up on the covers this time though. I'd had all the one style, but I really liked the recruiting poster one this time out.

Now tagless for your comfort.

A question: Is that Andrew in the cheesy recruiting video?

I got the mask cover but I'm going back to the get recruting poster one because Owen ripped a page out of my comic when I was reading it this afternoon.

The Grendel Special is apparently a taste of the comic coming in November--a series concerning a gap in Hunter Rose's diaries discovered by Christine Spar while researching her book. *

Today's pie: Banana Cream

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I'm not reading Cashmere's white font since I don't have my Buffy yet, but I'd just like to note that this:

Owen ripped a page out of my comic when I was reading it this afternoon.

just proves that diabolical eeeeeevil can lie beneath a cutiepie exterior.

I'm probably going tomorrow, Cash, do you want me to snag you one?

Oooh, yes, please!

Yes! I even got him his own Spider-Man comic to do with as he pleased. He just knew which one to mangle. The kids' comics I get him are on thick, glossy paper so they tend to stand up to him a little better.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Cashmere, I thought that was the one in the thing you were asking about, as well. IMO, the answer is "yes" though I sure could be wrong. That whole page had me laughing though.

Art Crawl!!!

I got my comic yesterday after work. I really wanted the Frayesque looking cover so I paid the extra and got that one. This is the first time I didn't get the standard cover.

I loved: 1-800-Chosen-1

Hee.

Nora, I checked the Whedoneque discussion thread and found out that it was Andrew and Vi. It was very much the sort of thing he'd do. I laughed as well. Then wondered why they'd include that in their recruiting materials.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

GC, Hec is out in the wilds of the East Bay on another baseball expedition with Emmett, but I'm positive that he is right this second suffering from a sudden stab of ravening envy, though he won't know why for a couple hours yet.
