For me, it almost is. I love that DC didn't decide to renumber their flagship comic. The idea of 1000 issues of this title is wonderful. Superman and Batman have earned those big numbers.

They did renumber it, for a little while, then they put the old numbers back.
So, they retconned the reboot?
From what I gather, yes, including a convoluted storyline where both timelines were simultaneously true. And starting with this issue, the red trunks are back!
I must say, the Batman storyline with fiancee Catwoman is fascinating. It's a weird love, but it works for them. Cat will definitely cut anyone that goes after her man.
Ironic that DC went through all this effort with new 52, but it turns out the way to improve quality and increase sales was to let their flagship characters progress and move on, rather than trying to restart them from the beginning. Clark and Lois are happily married with a kid, and Bruce and Selina are engaged. How about that?
I was honestly surprised that Damian, Bruce and Talia's son, is still in the universe. I used to think Marvel was best at maintaining their history.

I am REALLY worried about Bendis getting his hands on them... preview hints are not encouraging for the happy home life of the Lane-Kents.
