"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If anyone is interested in watching Noelle Stevenson (Lumberjanes, etc) playing D&D, she dropped by for last week's Critical Role. (She shows up around the 2 hour 35 minute mark): [link]

The host of that show looks like a Kevin Sorbo knockoff. Like if you were at a flea market and looked down at a box and thought, "Oh, that's weird, they've got old Hercules DVDs," and then realized that they were really for a show called Orkules produced in some third world country that still had a vital popular cinema.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Fun fact: Matt Mercer actually worked with Sorbo on a B-Movie. The first time they encountered each other on the set, Sorbo just looked at him for a second and then jokingly asked "What's your mother's name?"

Ha! It is known.

Netflix just got a huge infusion of testosterone.

There's a woman at work that wears this huge elongated v-shape red necklace over a black dress all the time and every time I see her from a distance I think she's wearing a Batwoman shirt. I don't know her at all, so I have no clue if it's an intentional bit of stealth geekery or not.

This conversation between Ed Piskor and Chris Claremont is pretty awesome, and also heartbreaking: [link]

Ahem.

I am a 50 year old man, and my favorite webcomic is the magical girl series Sleepless Domain.

There. I said it.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

While it's not my absolute favorite (Check, Please! currently has that honor), I utterly love Sleepless Domain. You have excellent taste, Tom.
