I've never seen a single issue send shockwaves through the comics industry the way that Lumberjanes #1 did since, like, TMNT #1.

Tom - how so? I remember the critical reaction being pretty positive, but nothing earth-shaking.
In the span of a few months, the number of woman-focused titles at DC and Marvel about doubled, including Gotham Academy, which is almost a clone of Lumberjanes. Marvel hired away Boom's top talent. DC did a 180°, abandoning their New 52, 1990s-style, grim-n-gritty house style in favor of lighter fare like Harley Quinn, a revamped Batgirl, Bat-Mite, etc.

I am so far behind on Sex Criminals and Lumberjanes. Dang.

OK, a web comics question - any other Penny & Aggie fans out there, because I have become unholy obsessed with this web comic. I mean I've re-read it a dozen times at this point and can't seem to stop just because I marvel at where it started to where it finished.
