"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's some serious fucked up corporate meddling.

Basically the comics people are seen as only vehicles for the movie properties at this point. The movies are so lucrative that the comics are seen as a threat to marketing.

Too many fucking suits that don't know comics.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy shit, what a clusterfuck. Wow.

Oh my God, it gets worse.

They also have a talent search for artists asking them to draw Harley Quinn naked in a bathtub about to kill herself.

Also, Dan Didio responds on Twitter. "A solid two year run plus sounds stable to me and change is good to bring renewed energy."

DC really doesn't see this as their problem. They see it as our problem. We, the fans, the internet, the non-publicity-department-controlled comics media, are only upset because we *know* about this stuff. If we would just stop knowing about it, they would stop looking so stupid for doing it.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I should ask Chatty!Former!Co-worker if he's seen that. Although he's at the comic-con all weekend, so maybe not the best time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Are you still talking about DC here?

Do you think he'd want to work for DC?

He's as unemployed as I am, and trying to get traction with his self-published title, so yeah, I think if going to DC would get him more name recognition so he could jump to a different publisher, he'd do it.

It's not like he'd have to make a long term commitment!

Jim Lee explains why people are silly to have overreacted without the facts that weren't provided, and that they will be at fault if the naked woman in a bath that they draw is sexy: [link]

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Wow, that's a whole lotta blah blah blah.
