We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

At least Disney is still keeping their toes wet with the mixed CGI/hand-drawn technique used for Paperman. Here's hoping the Oscar the short won encourages them to keep trying traditional animation in some form.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Neat!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

So a kid-friendly Deadpool kind of works: [link]

Still not likely to watch the show, though.

I'm just not buying this guy's argument: We Don’t Need No Stinking Wonder Woman Movie.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

MAKE A SINGLE CLEAR STORY. You're writers. Throw something together.

Wonder Woman is more famous than Iron Man or Captain America was. She sustained a TV show that many boys (and more than zero girls) pubesced watching.

Pick a story. Don't leave out too much--lets have Amazons and a pantheon and Themyscira. She might be part of the DC trifecta, but I'd wager more people know Supes is an alien who works as a reporter and Batman's parents are dead. For them it's a big deal. Look at what the Perez-drawn reboot did. Why can't that version be made into a movie, even without using any of her Men's World stories from then, just the way he scrubbed up the backstory for a reboot?

Give her an adventure, don't be chicken about mentioning feminism and having a woman fighter and leader. That should not be so hard in 2013.
