What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Fully clothed female superheros finally look like they can fight crime in the winter.

Except for Wonder Woman, they all look great!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Rob Liefeld has far too extensive a history of douchebaggery (hitting employee Dan Fraga in front of his kid brother, his disparaging twitter comments about other comic writers and artists, the hissyfit he threw over Shatterstar, etc.) for me to give him credit for being nice to fans who are no doubt stroking his ego at convention booths.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Speaking of fighting crime in winter, you guys have seen Hanie Mohd's sweatered supers, right? There should be cosplayers under that tag too, which is supercute and flattering.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I just posted that link on another site, ita. Weird synchronicity.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love those sweater supers!

And I really dig the cosplay trend of taking these forms of critique out onto the street and to the cons.

Also, the guy who did the objectified sexy poses Hawkeye, and the whole Rockabilly Batfam group.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

RIP Carmine Infantino

Man, we're running out of giants to lose.

Steph, I think this <spoiler>MAJOR BATMAN SPOILER</spoiler> might be of interest.

The DC Silver Age was all about Gil Kane, Joe Kubert and Carmine Infantino. It's his Flash that I'll remember, and all those small little gestural hands he'd add to the caption boxes.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Steph, I think this MAJOR BATMAN SPOILER might be of interest.

I just hyperventilated a little. Seriously.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!
