"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and while I liked Teen Titans, an over-the-top comedy version is not what I'm looking for.

I presume it will be like the Chibi short cartons they've been doing for DC Nation which are fun enough.

I'm curious about the retooled Powerpuff girls just because I like Kevin Dart's stuff a lot, and I'm wondering if they'll be made more human looking.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

They've been hit or miss for me so far, and I don't really see the concept working in a 30-minute episode format.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Beware the Batman sounds positively awful

It looked pretty cool from the Comic-Con presentation. I like that they're eschewing the classic villains and pulling out more obscure folk.

Sorry, they lost me at "gun-toting Alfred".

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's sad--I'm watching Young Justice and thinking "Why can't that be Damian? Why can't we have all of them???" and not pausing to remember that this is the only DC property not directed by Nolan that makes me cry the good tears (I'm not sure what in Cornered did it, but it did it.) and wanting an extra Robin is being more than greedy because it's good and we have no reason to think that the next time I see the League it won't be...hell, no reason to think we'll even see the damned League in live action...

This is a pretty nifty series of drawings, both in concept and execution. The Hank Pym Photo Collection: [link]

(I'm not sure what in Cornered did it, but it did it.)

That would be Mal.

He's not instinctively the hobbit in the story (or the softball-playing potential), but yes. Upon reflection, Mal.
