Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Just finished reading the last issue of Rasl. Not a very satisfying ending, especially considering how well Jeff Smith nailed the ending of Bone, which was a much more complicated story. Basically I ended up not understanding the motivations of any of the characters, especially the protagonist.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm reading that the new 52 is going to de-age Shiva to about Nightwing's age, which makes Cass less of an improbability an more of an impossibility. I am entirely not happy with this.

And iI hadn't realised what lengths they were going to in order to purge the world of the canker that is Steph Brown--recolouring a Smallville comic to make a character Babs instead of Steph? Is there some sort of peculiar mandate to limit the women under the Batwing just the one (walking) woman?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

What the hell, DC.

I miss having New Comics Day to look forward to.

I was reading the Elfquest issues I linked to before, and boy, that really jumped the shark pretty quickly. Once you have the glam-rock elf orgy scene, where do you go from there?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I read the original Elfquest when it first came out, and when they rebooted it, I was mystified. I grow more mystified every time I see it. And my BFF LOVES Elfquest. I try to be supportive.

I admit that I read only some of the early stuff, and when it all went online I tried to read some more, but I got really lost in the narrative.

This needed repeating.
