I'm trying to remember if I've re-read since my first time through (relatively unspoiled. Like, I didn't know the ending.), and I don't think I have, since I didn't remember noticing Mervyn on the bus before.
I noticed but didn't recognize on this re-read until someone pointed him out, and then I felt dumb, because I love him! Doesn't he defend the Dreaming with a machine gun and shit?
In The Kindly Ones, yes.
Just one more reason that's my favorite.
I think A Doll's House is my favorite (it was the first full arc I read), but Season of Mists managed to give me chills with almost every issue.
The preview for next week's Young Justice showed Jaimie Reyes and Cassie Sandsmark !!!!
I missed Jaime but I spotted Cassie. Very stoked.
Finally watched both this week and last week's episodes tonight. Enjoyed both thoroughly. Completely didn't expect Red Arrow to be the mole.
One thing that concerns me is I remember Greg Weisman saying an interview before the show started airing that the team would eventually rotate members as old ones are killed off and new ones join. We've been slowly adding people to the team, but we haven't lost any.
I suspect, now that we've seen Armless!Roy on ice that Red Arrow would be the most expendable, but I'd hate to lose anyone.
I survived "24 Hours."
I had forgotten all the specifics of what happened in that issue, but Jesus fuck. This time around, I tried to let my admiration outweigh my disturbination. Sometimes writers (even Gaiman) try too hard to be disturbing, but this is the real deal. I think it's some of Gaiman's best work and probably one of the best horror comics ever, not that I've read enough to compare.
I just posted a Young Justice link in the spoilers thread. No plot details, just pictures of upcoming characters.
Young Justice watching people: season 2 starts this Saturday, and with it a name change to "Young Justice: Invasion". This confused our DVR. Might be a good idea to check yours.
