Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Hey. New board.

The last page of the second Buffy issue is pretty awesome. Also, the rest of the Buffy issue.

Buffy was having sex dreams about Xander? Was that based in reality?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Did my eyes deceive me, or was Willow wearing the same outfit Tara wore in "Once More, with Feeling" ?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Matt, I think you are correct.

Also, I hope that panel of the slayer Xander's been flirting with, and who apparently likes him too, getting skewred isn't the last we see of her. If so, poor Xander.

Damn, that first sentence was akward.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yes, I think that Buffy is really having sex dreams about Xander, but I'm not sure we're supposed to be reading anything more into that except "Buffy's in a dry spell and she sees Xander every day."

Was it just me, or did Andrew REALLY not look like himself? It took me a few panels to realize that's who it was supposed to be. Surprising since the rest of the cast has been very recognizably drawn.

Not just you.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Definitely not just you. I agree with Jessica's first paragraph as well. So, are Angel & Spike going to fight over who gets to break the spell? Gawd, I hope not.

I think it'd be hilarious if they brought back Riley just for that purpose.

Assuming Samantha Finn hasn't eaten him by now, of course.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Pretty much agree with everything y'all are saying. I didn't recognize Andrew either, though I loved seeing him geek out. I hope we see more of him (and a little more character development would be nice too -- as much as I love Andrew-the-fanboy, I prefer him as more than just one-note comic-relief). Still wondering who Amy's boyfriend could be -- I don't think it's Adam, unless he's changed a lot (possible), because while he's weird and scary, I don't think he's really grotesque in the way that Amy's boyfriend is supposed to be. My kittens are on a resurrected Warren, sans skin (ew). I cheered when Willow showed up! Loved the callback to Giles: "I'd like to test that theory." That gave me goosebumps. I have to admit that I was actually hoping that neither Angel nor Spike would show up in the comic -- I just don't see Buffy ending up with either of them in the long run -- but given the true-love's-kiss plotline, it seems clear that at least one, if not both, of them will be appearing soon. I'll be very pleased to be proven wrong, though!

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I'm interrupting your regularly scheduled Buffy S8 squee to see if anyone read JLA #7 yet. Because -- ROY!!! Love!!!! And Ollie being all fatherly-noble! Love!!! Sentimental Hal! Love!!! And Dinah being large and in charge!!! Woot!!!
