I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Okay, yeah. I need to get to my comic store and re-vamp my pulls down to only Blue Beetle. And maybe Teen Titans.

And I don't have much faith that Blue Beetle won't suck, either.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am reasonably flexible. You know what's really uncomfortable about that position? The way her foot is turned.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ahahah, those pics are hilarious! I bet I could work it out if I tried hard enough. But I still wouldn't look like that! That is not Mary Jane!

Okay, I just read the Kick Ass TPB. I never saw the movie, so I'm wondering -- how faithful to the book is the movie? Because that is some violent shit going on there.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Movie's pretty violent. Like, they don't shy away from Big Daddy's death.

That didn't seem as violent to me as the electrocuted testicles, or some of Hit-Girl's fight scenes, where she literally cut heads in half.

Also, by the end of the comic, I was kind of glad that Big Daddy got killed. Because, damn, what a sociopath.

t edit I'm referring to the comic, of course, since I haven't seen the movie. (Which is why I asked about it. Durrr. I think I'm stupid on painkillers right now. Gotta say, reading Kick-Ass helps take the edge off of root canal pain.)

I really like the movie. It's pretty violent though.

The hardest scene to watch actually is when Hit-Girl is getting beat up by the adult sized bad guy at the end. Seeing an adult male punching out a little girl - even a Hit Girl - is difficult to watch in a movie setting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So in JLA #1, GL meets Batman for the first time. Like, doesn't know who he is, or what his powers are (not). In JLI #1, Batman tries to talk Booster Gold into keeping Guy Gardner on the team.

Is there a guide to this?
