Gene Colan was one of the key comic artists of my childhood. Though he did major work in the sixties (especially on Daredevil) I'll always associate him with the seventies and artists of that era like Berni Wrightson, Barry Windsor-Smith, Jim Starlin, and Paul Gulacy.

I can't imagine why someone would cover George Perez. But I'm somewhat inarticulate on the topic. Next they'll be covering (off to google check spelling) Sienkiewicz.
Yeah, I don't get the point.
I like the ones that take the original and go somewhere with it, like Sam Jackson as Nick Fury or the fact that clearly Elektra needs two hands to hold that gun. But the ones that just redo the original with better composition, like the Fantastc Four, NSM.
