I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

A little bit of good DC news: George Perez to write and draw Superman #1

I suppose after 6 years it was inevitable that there would be at least one announcement that would make me regret my DC boycott rather than reinforcing my commitment to it.

Oooookay. Per Morrison

“Batman, Incorporated will continue through to Issue #10 and August’s shocking season finale that changes the Batman status quo yet again. The series will take a brief hiatus while I work on a major new project to be announced shortly. Batman, Incorporated returns next year with me, Chris Burnham and Batman: Leviathan, the epic 12 part conclusion to my 6 year Batman saga. Don’t miss it!”

And it'll start over at #1 as well. So confusing.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

shocking season finale that changes the Batman status quo yet again.

Really? You can't let your new status be quo for more than 10 issues?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It might be quo, but it's not very status.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

After a tenure as the Batman of Gotham, Dick Grayson resumes his mantle as Nightwing!

Red Hood and the Outlaws #1 will be written by Scott Lobdell and drawn by relative newcomer Kenneth Rocafort. In it, Jason Todd finds himself as a leader of a team of antiheroes – including "Green Arrow's rejected sidekick Arsenal and Starfire, a former prisoner of intergalactic war."

I can't tell. Is this Arsenal a guy or a girl?

Pretty sure it's a he.

Is this Kory not an ex of Dick's? Good god, people, I WAS INVESTED. STOP FUCKING WITH ME.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Didn't Arsenal lose an arm? I mean, I get that if Babs is out of the chair, they can give Roy his arm back, but still -- my dislike is just growing and growing.

Did Arsenal lose a kid? Or am I thinking of the wrong sidekick?

Arsenal lost a kid at the end of "Cry for Justice," whose last issue was considered by some reviewers to be actually the worst comic ever.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was trying to find a link to prove that, and googling "Cry for Justice" + worst comic ever leads to an astonishingly long list of results that are not just re-cites of the same review. (IOW, many people were disgusted by it.)
