Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, that just - well, it's wrong!

Oracle just rocks and I agree - I loved Barbara Gordon as Batgirl but I love it more when that's her past history that informs who she is as Oracle.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I don't understand why DC doesn't just pull a Marvel and make their equivalent of the "Ultimate" Universe. You can do your "young/hip/modern/what-ever-buzzword you use now" revamp of your iconic characters for the folks that are into that, while not pissing off all your existing fans and tossing out decades worth of development of these characters.

Or does that just make too much sense for DC?

If Barbara is going to be Batgirl again, are they reverting Dick to Robin?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

If Barbara is going to be Batgirl again, are they reverting Dick to Robin?

Wow, that would be what I call a case of shrinkage.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They will be running a Nightwing comic, so that's unlikely.

Huh. That's kind of weird that'd revert one but not the other, though I guess Barbara was Batgirl more recently than Dick was Robin.

WTF? Was looking forward to new Young Justice tonight, but apparently its return has been delayed with no new air date announced.

Thank you, Cracked magazine (er, website): 5 Absurd Ways Comic Books Have Resurrected Dead Superheroes: [link] Number 2, bitches!

Also, now I can show the whole crazy thing to Tim without having to dig out my back issues of Really Final Infinite We Mean It This Time Crisis On Some Number of Earths or Maybe Just One Earth.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

A little bit of good DC news: George Perez to write and draw Superman #1

New Nightwing costume. I have to say, I will miss the finger stripes.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Everywhere I turn people are upset about Oracle. I wonder if DC will rethink rebooting Babs.
