Woe to the fucking wicked.

I have started down the well-trod path of reading lots of Transmetropolitan in a short period of time. I'm not done yet.

I went in fully expecting to be off-put enough to not get very far in before I had to put it down (I tend to have a very low tolerance for random violence, drug use, and extreme misanthropy). But there was enough likability in Spider from early enough to keep me reading.

Also, omgwtf introduction by Patrick Stewart?!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Also, omgwtf introduction by Patrick Stewart?!

TOTALLY FANBOY introduction by Patrick Stewart, I think you meant to say.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

You are correct. Well, maybe "TOTALLY FUCKING FANBOY introduction by Patrick Stewart"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where's a good place to start reading Deadpool? I've only read him randomly to date.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

But there was enough likability in Spider from early enough to keep me reading.

Also, if you've met Pete, you end up hearing ALL of Spider's dialog in Pete's voice.

Some Halloween I will finally talk him into dressing up as Spider, and I'll go as one of the Filthy Assistants.

That would be very cool.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

ita, is this you on Metafilter? Because otherwise, weird coincidence.

No, that's not me. But I'm on the cusp of a wave that's going to sweep the nation...

I asked on IO9 as well, and didn't get much. I'm not overly concerned with his origin comics, just want to know which of the trades are worth picking up.

FCBD looks kind of weak this year. Nothing really jumps out at me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My store's holding the Avatar and Atomic Robo for me, but, yeah, other than that, didn't seem too exciting.
