Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What if Frank Miller wrote history books?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Those are great, Tom.

So I'm in the Parc Guell gift shop when I see something awesomely ridiculous:

Batman: Barcelona: El Caballero del Dragon

WHAT! How did I not know about this? It was written by Mark Waid and everything; it came out last year. I had to buy it, especially since it was only 6 Euros for a hardback 64-page one-shot. And then I got one for my brother because he would also appreciate the hilarity of Killer Croc yelling, "Eres hombre muerto!" (Followed by "Yaaah! Mis ojos!") Bats chases Croc through Las Ramblas and they do battle on La Sagrada Familia (which appears to have been transposed to the Gothic Quarter).

Best souvenir ever?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

OMG P-C HOW MANY COPIES DO THEY HAVE????

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Best Souvenir ever?

Well my friends went to Barcelona and brought me back porn so I'm not quite sure. Does Bats get tied up naked at all?

They had quite a few! If Parc Guell weren't such a pain to get to, I would go grab you a copy, but if I see it in another gift shop, I will pick it up (they may be in the Sagrada Familia gift shop, for instance). They released it simultaneously in the U.S., Spain, and Italy, but the Spanish edition is a special hardcover and has an introduction by the mayor of Barcelona and extras in the back (I think we just got a regular issue). You may be able to find the American edition in the back issues at your comic book store, or you can order this thing:

It also includes Batman's adventures in Scotland, among other places.

He does not pay a visit to the Museu l'Erotica, no. I did, however.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I haven't been keeping up with Batman: The Brave and the Bold but apparently a recent episode featured the Birds of Prey and they had a little musical number about certain heroes "attributes". [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's awesome! Nice tune too, though Aquaman's little fish will linger in my mind.
