So they screened Scott Pilgrim yesterday at SDCC. Where the heck is P-C?
The reviews are starting to come out, and hoo-boy, there's going to be a huge chasm between critics who don't get it and those that do.

That is a truly epic not-getting-it.
I think it's so great when I can tell from a bad review that I'll love the movie.
Hmph. Young Justice is apparently going to be set on an alternate Earth where the Teen Titans never existed, so Robin and Kid Flash are going to be Dick and Wally. Which is disappointing. [link]
On the plus side, Peter David said on his site he'll be writing a few episodes. "I would love to tell you all about my first episode, but I’m afraid that it’s…oh, what’s the word…Secret."
I'm still looking forward to it, and it's kind of cool they're going to involve the Justice League and some additional members not on the main roster, but I'm sad we don't get Bart and Tim.

The hell?
Bah.
I know. Beyond the whole "Dick and Wally weren't part of Young Justice" thing, we've already seen Dick in Batman: TAS and Teen Titans and Wally in Justice League and Teen Titans (though not much for the latter.) Tim and Bart should get their turn.
Granted Tim was in B:TAS, as well, but that was a weird Tim/Jason Todd mix.
a weird Tim/Jason Todd mix.
Which reminds me -- when is "Under the Red Hood" being released? It's soon, isn't it?
t edit Since I have the interwebs, I googled, and it's available on demand now, and on sale Tuesday. Hmm. May have to hit up iTunes for the on-demand thing, since I'm dealing with yet another migraine that's keeping me at home.

I just posted in Movies! Sorry, no Internet while I was down there. I really lucked out in getting into that screening. It was the highlight of my Comic-Con, especially because Metric played afterward.

Yeah, I suspected that.
Scott Pilgrim -- O'Malley flatters himself by borrowing the last name of Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse-Five" hero
Incorrect, he got the name from a song. Shut up.
What's disappointing is that this is all so juvenile. Nothing makes any real sense. The "duels" change their rules on a whim, and no one takes the games very seriously, including the exes, who, when defeated, explode into coins the winner may collect.
Kirk Honeycutt (if that is your real name), I have four words in response: it's not for you.
I have no idea what possesses someone to do this, but it's funny as hell. It may possibly be too geeky for me, though.
Is Professor Xavier a mole? That's awesome!
