Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

If Tim Gunn were judging the competition, Tony Stark would win hands down.

A simple guide to the Marvel universe: [link]

I found the part about the Cosmic Cube particularly helpful.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

But first, a word about Marvel Boy:

They call him Marvel Boy.

And now, a word about Bob from Accounting.

They call him Bob. But behind his back they call him "that smelly Bob."

Bob is more exciting than Marvel Boy.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Random Sunday afternoon geek-child creation project: Superhero A to Z, for Matilda to work on her pre-reading letter recognition skills. Teen Titans animated series-verse preferable (she knows them all well, plus more kid-friendly images), the more girls and women the better.

My preliminary list, which I know everyone else can make much better:

A is for Aqualad
B is for Batman and Beastboy
C is for Cyborg
D is for Daredevil
E is for Elastagirl (either Doom Patrol or Helen Parr, or both)
F is for Flash
G is for Green Lantern (who is mildly lame, but there just aren't a ton of G's)
H is for Hawkgirl
I is for Iron Man
J is for Jinx
K is for Kid Flash (a semi-repeat of F, but in the TT animated-verse he's SO FRICKIN' ADORABLE)
L is for ____________
M is for Mas Y Menos (there've got to be more, but I'm having brainfreeze on other candidates)
N is for Nightwing
O is for _____________
P is for Phoenix
Q is for Quicksilver
R is for Robin and Raven
S is for Starfire, Superman and Storm
T is for Terra
U is for ______________
V is for _____________
W is for Wonder Woman
X is for X-Men
Y is for ______________
Z is for _______________

Have you seen Bob McLeod's Superhero ABC? All made-up superheroes (and not enough girls), but very entertaining; my 4-year-old daughter loves it.
