"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That's the stupidest @#%* thing I've ever heard of."

It really is.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The new DC Animated series Young Justice League will reportedly include Martian Girl, Aqualad, Nightwing, Impulse, Arrowette, and Connor Kent.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I guess I'm doing my DCAU catch-up just in time!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Hadn't realized there was a Martian Girl. Excited about Nightwing, Impulse and Connor Kent, though. (Though if we get Nightwing, it means no Robin and no Connor-Tim interaction.)

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Martian Girl is fairly cool, if she's written well.

(Though if we get Nightwing, it means no Robin and no Connor-Tim interaction.)

And now that Conner is alive again in DC comics, there was a Tim/Kon reunion in the most recent Red Robin, wherein Kon asked Tim, "Why so happy? Sale on leather? Let me guess -- you're going to get matching chaps?"

I am not making that shit up.

Honestly, I was always pretty on board with how Winick wrote Jason. I was iffy on most of his other stuff, but really thought that somehow he generally got inside Jason's head pretty well.

I mean, SERIOUSLY!

Written by Judd Winick and based on his 2005 Batman comics story line, it's Batman versus another vigilante, Red Hood, who doesn't mind cleaning up Gotham by leaving dead bodies in his wake. Animated guru Bruce Timm exec produces this pretty violent look into crime on the streets, and it's directed by "Superman Doomsday" co-director Brandon Vietti, with a cavalcade of stars as voice talent. It all starts with Bruce Greenwood ("Star Trek") as Batman, then continues with "Supernatural" star Jensen Ackles as Red Hood, Neil Patrick Harris ("How I Met Your Mother") as Nightwing, John DiMaggio ("Futurama") as the Joker and Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter films) as Ra's Al Ghul.

HELLO, THEY ARE MERGING DCU, NU!TREK, SUPERNATURAL, AND HARRY EFFING POTTER WITH A SIDE OF NPH! IF THEY BUILD IT, WE WILL COME!

I mean that in a purely viewing audience sort of way.

Not the messy one.
